2021 Rosé of Pinot Noir
“The 2021 Rosé of Pinot Noir comes from the Dry Stack Vineyard in Bennett Valley and was matured for six months in 33% new French oak. Pale onion-skin in color, a delicate core of white strawberry and honeysuckle is accented by tones of beeswax, nutmeg, cheese rind and flint on the nose. The light-bodied palate is creamy, delicate and detailed with refreshing acidity and a long, spicy finish. 121 cases were made.”

2020 Pinot Noir
"Picking for the 2020 Pinot Noir began on September 3, earlier than usual due to a warm season and light crop. "The fires had started, but there was no smoke in the Bennett Valley," says winemaker Jesse Katz. Bennett Valley was a little pocket of protection; everything went around it." Matured for 21 months in 50% new French oak, it has a medium ruby color and layered aromas of cranberry, blueberry, rhubarb and cinnamon stick with touches of mossy bark, prosciutto and Angostura bitters. The medium-bodied palate is generous yet well-defined, offering plenty of earthy accents to balance its fruit. Finely grained and energetic, it has a long, spicy finish and is drinking beautifully straight from the bottle. Enjoy it over the next 5-8 years. 242 cases were made.”
